A.                                          Meeting Date

  Next meeting will be held on Saturday - Sept. 4th, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the clubhouse. This will be the final meeting before the annual hog roast.  All members are invited to attend.

      Memberships may be obtained by the following methods:

1.  Send $25.00 - your name, address, city & state,  zip code, phone number and area code to Jefferson Township Club, P.O. Box 761, Monticello, In. 47960.   You will be mailed a membership card and key to gate.

2. Memberships may also be obtained by visiting:

    A.  Smittys Bait Shop - located across the river.

    B.  Oakdale Inn - also located across the river.

    C   Springboro General Store - located on St. Rd. 18 and Springboro Rd.

    D.  Twin Lakes Fish & Game - located at 1880 N. Francis Street Monticello, take Main St. North to Drive-in and turn right.

    E.   At club grounds from the Caretaker.

C. Hunter Safety Education

 *   Congratulations to The Izzak Walton League for again placing #1 in the State of Indiana as the top Hunter Education Program.  Also to Instructor Kenny Gifford who was named Top Instructor in the State. We are proud to help sponsor this valuable Conservation Program.

     The next Hunter Safety Program will be held September 11 & 12, 2010   8:00A.M. to 5:00P.M. Saturday and 12:00P.M. to 5:00P.M. Sunday PARTICAPANTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOOT, BOW & ARROWS, CROSSBOWS, RIFLES, SHOTGUNS, AND MUZZLE LOADERS UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION OF TRAINED INSTRUCTORS. You must attend both sessions to complete the coarse.  Call Kenny Gifford @ 594-722-4595 for more information and registration.

*    Twin Lakes Fish & Game will hold their Hunter Education Class on Saturday - October 2nd from 8AM to 5PM.  There is No Charge for this class.  A lunch will be provided for attendees.  There is limited seating for this class so please call 574-593-6635 for further information and to reserve a seat.

D. Misc.

2010 HOG ROAST WILL BE HELD SATURDAY OCT.2 SERVING FROM 1 P.M TO 4:00 P.M. Features Pulled Pork, Pork with BBQ sause, and Pork with saurkrout. Salads, Baked Beans, Chips, Deserts, and Drinks. DJ playing some of you favorite tunes.

2011 Memberships available for $27.00 donation, this day only. After that Memberships will be a $30.00 donation.

Lots of Outdoor items will be available for $1.00 drawings. Camping, Hunting, Fishing, and misc items (including a CATFISH MAILBOX)
