THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR CLUB.

PLEASE CHECK FISHING & WATER CONDITIONS LINK FOR ALL THE LASTEST INFO ON WHAT IS TAKING PLACE IN OUR AREA

10-22-14.

The purpose of this website is to make us a

River Watch Group!!!

While it is preferred that we don't have to go to WAR with Nipsco---we feel obligated to inform the people on the river and lakes. as well as other agencies, when there are issues with water flows due to improper operation of the Dams

In a statement on TV-18 it was expressed by Nipsco that they were closing the Club to make it better for more people to enjoy fishing and picnicking on the grounds

As many of you know by now it is far from a public friendly place now!!!!

There are far less people using the grounds than had ever been in the past---club members were part of that PUBLIC also and they don't use it now because of how bad it is.

PHONE AND E-MAIL ADDRESS ARE ALL STILL THE SAME. 06-26-14

            WELCOME CONSERVATIONISTS

Welcome to the Jefferson Township Conservation Club website.  We are located on the West-Downstream side of the Oakdale Dam in Carroll County, Indiana.   As a Non-Profit Organization the JTCC, Inc. promotes and maintains a Family Oriented Facility that is beneficial to the local community and statewide conservation groups. We are proud of the contributions and goodwill we are able to share with our community each year to promote Fishing, Hunter Safety Programs and good general conservation practices.

Our organization is also caretaker for the State of Indiana Hufford Trust Habitat Area. This 132-acre plot is a diverse public use wildlife area in our community.

The JTCC, Inc. membership is limited to One Thousand (1,000) members each year and is open to anyone, without restriction, up to the limited number. Each membership receives a key to the Main Access Gate of the Property and understands they are under restrictions of the Rules and Regulations of the Club while on the property.

A Full-Time Caretaker assures members compliance with the rules of the Club, as well as maintaining the grounds, buildings, 20 plus shelters, and clean restroom facilities.

We welcome the general public to our organization or to join us at any of our monthly meetings held at 10:00 AM the 1st Saturday of each month at the club grounds.
